If you’ve never been this far North before, Peace Arch Park is located on the border between the United States and Canada, where people from each country can meet without officially crossing the border with passport in hand. During the Covid-19 border closures, this was the only way that many families could see each other. C+L were no exception; this was the only they could see each other for such a long time that it made sense to marry in this beautiful place with both sides of the family in attendance. With towering rhododendrons, lovely grounds and water views, the backdrop for their day is truly stunning.

Wait… forest? Winery? Those two sounds like they don’t belong in the same sentence but somehow JM Cellars in Woodinville makes them a match made in heaven. Peaceful, calming trees, plenty of shade, beautiful landscaping, a gorgeous getting ready area, the best mix of modernity and PNW. B+M married in May and the weather was absolutely perfect for their day. Dappled sunshine and no rain in sight. A seriously joyful celebration with all of their favorite people and a truly stellar vendor team.

Winter wonderland!! Winter weddings do NOT have to be boring, and you don’t have to settle for “holiday vibes” if you don’t want to. With the additions of dried elements and a ton of texture, you can achieve a look that toes the line between sophsticated and laid-back. This is one of the most thoughtfully planned weddings I have ever had the joy of designing for. A+S hit quite a few speed bumps on the road to navigating COVID reschedulings, but the magic came to life in October in the most beautiful way. Piles of garden roses, dahlias, and tons of fresh greenery helped set the romantic overtones of the day and joined these two kind humans as they celebrated with their loved ones.

The sweetest couple, the cutest doggos, and a peaceful forest venue set the tone for this beautiful day at Beau Lodge in Bow, WA. This family was one of the most welcoming groups of people I have ever had the pleasure of working with, there was no shortage of offers to help me while I worked (even from other vendors!). That spirit of community filled the whole venue with love and joy, and ensured a wonderful start to E+D’s brand new life together.

Christianson’s is one of my favorite venues! You can do so much here, from the blank canvas of the schoolhouse to the outdoor gardens to the greenhouse itself. M+K chose to celebrate outside with their nearest and dearest for their intimate garden wedding, with the most fun color palette. The majority of their flowers came from local flower farms and were at the peak of freshness. Their fun-loving personalities really shone through their florals!

I am LOVING how many couples I get to meet from all over the country as they plan their elopements and intimate weddings in the Mount Baker wilderness! E+C (and their families!) came from the Midwest and got to experience a true PNW day. A misty mid-afternoon ceremony on the mountain delivered the most perfect photos (seriously, the tones are just perfect), followed by a sun-soaked reception full of joy at Wandering Waters Farm in Maple Falls. These two beautiful souls married at Axton Events on a perfect July day after postponing their original celebration due to Covid-19. It was sunny, bluebird sky, I could hear everyone laughing and enjoying each other’s company as they got ready for the day; the love was all around! Axton Events is a romantic place to get married and their choice of color palette fit right in. Check out that stunning arbor!
