Anna + Brandon: Mount Baker Elopement

Anna and Brandon braved the same stormy weather that Brooke and Erik did, their elopement celebrations were on the same day! Luckily they had a great photo/elopement planning team that helped prepare them for the unexpected. They embraced it with joyful hearts and an adventurous spirit (you never know what weather you’re going to get in the North Cascades!) and ended up with a wonderful story to tell. These two were such a blast to work with and had so much trust in the creative process, with some fantastic ideas of their own: hat florals anyone?! A+B, big hugs from Washington, you’re awesome!

Miranda and Matt: Evergreen Gardens

M+M! This fun, vibrant couple shared my love of the Pacific Northwest and FERNS, and requested lots and lots of them. Can do, my friends! Their venue is a gorgeous wooded and perfectly landscaped property just 15 minutes outside the city, full of lush plants and a peaceful feel without the long drive. The ferns fit right in among the towering trees. Their designs prioritized local blooms, included tons of dahlias, cosmos, roses and so much more. Their happy color palette set the tone for the killer party they threw for all their guests.

Abby and Graham: Lairmont Manor

A+G had a vision for super bright, colorful florals to embody a wildflower field for their beautiful day. They asked for a “living photo booth backdrop” to climb up the tree at Lairmont Manor and I was up for the challenge! We chose mechanics that would cause no harm to the tree; not one screw, nail or spike was placed into this old friend, only chicken wire and fishing line were used to create this installation. Looking back on these photos brings me so much JOY, such a gorgeous day.

Cassie and Austin: Georgetown Ballroom

Whenever the Tapestry Team is involved in planning a wedding, you can be SURE it is chock full of pure intention, love, and nothing fluffy or stuffy. Just good people having a good time. C+A wanted overflowing yet minimalist florals to complement their brick venue (think curving vines, garden roses and petite little floral sprays), leaving plenty of space for their guests to mingle and most importantly, dance dance dance.

Mikyla and William: Cruise Terminal

M+W chose to marry inside the stunning Greek Orthodox church here in town, with their reception in the equally impactful Bellingham Cruise Terminal. I can never get enough of that dome window! The lighting and atmosphere is incredible, especially if your wedding date has you a little concerned about the weather. Their chic and classic color scheme was complemented by all-white seasonal flowers, very little greenery, and pops of black from the center of those anemones. Charming and elegant.

Brenda and Mike: JM Cellars Forest Winery

Wait… forest? Winery? Those two sounds like they don’t belong in the same sentence but somehow JM Cellars in Woodinville makes them a match made in heaven. Peaceful, calming trees, plenty of shade, beautiful landscaping, a gorgeous getting ready area, the best mix of modernity and PNW. B+M married in May and the weather was absolutely perfect for their day. Dappled sunshine and no rain in sight. A seriously joyful celebration with all of their favorite people and a truly stellar vendor team.

Michael and Amy: Barnstar Events

M+A had a very clear vision of what feelings they wanted their florals to evoke: a little wild, a little lush, and a LOT like a Pacific Northwest garden. The bouquets featured fresh stock, amaranth, lisianthus, and scabiosas and snapdragons, proving you can have a stunning arrangement without traditional statement flowers. I feel like the vibe was achieved!

Miranda and Tyler: Mount Baker

These two lovebirds had the clearest vision for their elopement florals: Seasonal blooms from local farms, a muted but stunning color palette, and arrangements that reflected a wild PNW garden. “Structurally wild” is my specialty and I am thrilled to have been a part of their day! M+T traveled all the way from Oregon (and their photog from New Mexico!) to say their vows with family in the Mount Baker Wilderness. Check out their perfect day!
