Shannon and Matt: Roche Harbor Resort

Where to even begin?! This “Alice in Wonderland” inspired floral design will forever be a favorite of mine. From the whimsical textures to the vibrant, colorful candles, this was a DREAM to design. All the flowers you see in these images were locally grown right here in Whatcom County by my amazing farmer friends, and arranged with love.
Biggest congratulations to Shannon and Matt! A most amazing day, and the most fun to work with you two!

Hannah and Matt: The Captain Whidbey

A quintessential PNW location, I adore the Captain Whidbey. Unbeatable views of Penn Cove on Whidbey Island, the peaceful and relaxing vibe of “island time”, gorgeous landscaping and grounds, and staff that handles it all with ease. This venue personifies the Pacific Northwest and I LOVE the natural tree formation that welcomes you to the ceremony site. We can put flowers on pretty much anything, including these gorgeous madronas!

Bringing in a tent is a must in the Northwest, and we were so grateful to have one this day. The weather graced us with a true PNW experience, and we got wind, sun, and rain all in one day. The guests had a beautifully decorated space to relax in and cozy up together to enjoy a meal, and celebrate this beautiful couple.

Anna and Doug: Roche Harbor Resort

Roche Harbor was a very sentimental place for these two; Anna grew up spending time in the summer there with family, and Doug joining them on trips after they met. It was the only natural place to host their gorgeous special day! I had never been to Roche before, and after traveling there for a site visit in March, I GET IT. Wow! It is absolutely stunning. The views, the property and hotel itself, and the overall atmosphere is something truly special.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this couple as well. Detail-oriented, thoughtful and intentional in their design, trusting the floral process, FUN, I had the best time planning with Anna and Doug. Honestly I miss chatting with them about their wedding and getting to know them! They also chose an absolutely stellar team for their day, which makes the day itself so much more fun behind the scenes.

This was a 100/10 day that I would love to go back in time and relive. We created a dreamy greenery canopy ceiling with custom light fixtures, relied on color and candlelight to bring in both a fun and cozily intimate feel, and loaded up on joyful color. The result was something truly special and I am forever proud of this design. It was a dream of a weekend spent on San Juan Island. BIG BIG HUGS Anna and Doug!

Sina and Kyle: Mount Baker Elopement

Mountain elopements have my heart. Have I said that before? :) There is just something about the peaceful solitude of the alpine areas that keep things focused on the two of you (and your closest loved ones, if they are attending), with no distractions. The gorgeous views are just a bonus! S+ K chose to explore the Mount Baker Wilderness, and their photographer chose them some stunning locations to celebrate in. I had the best time coming up with this raspberry and peach toned floral extravaganza. Made entirely from local flowers, with lots of textural elements for added joy. Congratulations you two!

Lily and John: Dancing Fish Vineyards

Lily and John were just the loveliest to work with! This day, planned by the Tapestry Event Co. team, was perfectly seamless and relaxed. The views were gorgeous, the vibes were high, and everyone came together to celebrate this couple and their new lives together. Just a dream of a day all around.

This venue is on Whidbey Island, and if you are looking for a casual yet elevated feel for your wedding day, it cannot be beat. “Island Time” is a thing here, but in an approachable way, and you are welcome just as you are. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful, welcoming celebration. Congratulations L+J! Hugs to you both!

Brooke and Erik: Mount Baker Intimate Wedding

Brooke and Erik reached out to me last minute, when wildfires threatened their original elopement location in Eastern Washington. Their color palette and overall vibe was perfect for Mount Baker’s fall season, and we made them some absolutely gorgeous items! Mother Nature was a big of a brat a second time and poured rain and wind on these two for their day, but you wouldn’t know it based on the smiles! I had such a wonderful time working with them and being a little part of their wild adventures. B+E, BIG HUGS!!

Anna + Brandon: Mount Baker Elopement

Anna and Brandon braved the same stormy weather that Brooke and Erik did, their elopement celebrations were on the same day! Luckily they had a great photo/elopement planning team that helped prepare them for the unexpected. They embraced it with joyful hearts and an adventurous spirit (you never know what weather you’re going to get in the North Cascades!) and ended up with a wonderful story to tell. These two were such a blast to work with and had so much trust in the creative process, with some fantastic ideas of their own: hat florals anyone?! A+B, big hugs from Washington, you’re awesome!

Bev and James: The Saltbox Barn

This extra special vow renewal celebration was held at the Saltbox Barn on Fir Island, a gorgeous converted barn in the heart of Skagit Valley. Every vendor involved here donated their time, talents, and materials via the Wish Upon A Wedding Foundation to help bring this vision to life. What a joy to be a part of something like that!
