Some wedding days stick in my mind just a bit more than usual, and this is one of them. J+R approached their floral designs with such intentionality; everything was chosen for a specific and quantifiable reason. There was no feel of “checking things off a list” here, everything was intended to have a specific purpose and feeling. I found myself deeply inspired by these two and their journey.

The designs were magical, meaningful, and just a bit challenging; my FAVORITE kind! I grew “Diva” dahlias in my home garden just for them, as they were the absolute perfect choice for the color palette. Combine all this with an absolutely stellar vendor team with some of my industry friends and you’ve got a day for the books.

I am LOVING how many couples I get to meet from all over the country as they plan their elopements and intimate weddings in the Mount Baker wilderness! E+C (and their families!) came from the Midwest and got to experience a true PNW day. A misty mid-afternoon ceremony on the mountain delivered the most perfect photos (seriously, the tones are just perfect), followed by a sun-soaked reception full of joy at Wandering Waters Farm in Maple Falls.
