This extra special vow renewal celebration was held at the Saltbox Barn on Fir Island, a gorgeous converted barn in the heart of Skagit Valley. Every vendor involved here donated their time, talents, and materials via the Wish Upon A Wedding Foundation to help bring this vision to life. What a joy to be a part of something like that!

Some dreamy florals for a super sweet couple! Located at one of my favorite Skagit Valley venues, Santucci Farms, these flowers complemented the gently rustic converted horse barn of the venue as well as the lovingly curated gardens. L chose grounded neutrals for their color palette; creams, red-toned burgundies, peaches, whites, textural elements and swaying grasses. Peaceful, easy and a great accent to the feel of the day. All family members were genuinely happy to be in each other’s company, helping to create a perfect day for this couple. Just a lovely experience all around.

Winter wonderland!! Winter weddings do NOT have to be boring, and you don’t have to settle for “holiday vibes” if you don’t want to. With the additions of dried elements and a ton of texture, you can achieve a look that toes the line between sophsticated and laid-back. Christianson’s is one of my favorite venues! You can do so much here, from the blank canvas of the schoolhouse to the outdoor gardens to the greenhouse itself. M+K chose to celebrate outside with their nearest and dearest for their intimate garden wedding, with the most fun color palette. The majority of their flowers came from local flower farms and were at the peak of freshness. Their fun-loving personalities really shone through their florals!

If you are considering booking a venue that can be described as a “Blank Space”, this is beautiful photographic proof of the role that florals can play in transforming the look and feel of your event. This winery reception featured minimalist table settings and bare walls, allowing the flowers to do the work of softening the feel and bringing in the colors and textures of spring. All flowers chosen were seasonal, locally grown, and picked at their peak to ensure their best performance on Kathryn and Brad’s Best Day.

Venue: Tulip Valley Winery

M+T collected the most beautiful eclectic mix of tincture bottles in all sorts of colors, and asked for them to be filled with seasonal “wildflowers” to complete their floral vision. Peaceful vibes, an easy-going and wonderfully kind couple, all their guests joined them at Moon Mountain Lodge for a night of music, dancing, and camping under the stars. A rustic venue if I’ve ever seen one, the drive up to the Lodge is reminiscent of a forest-service logging road: bumpy, long, and probably not well suited for a low-riding compact car, but once you have arrived you are greeted with only the sounds of singing birds and rustling wind. This was a forever favorite wedding.

An elaborate arbor, a sea of eucalyptus garland on the head table, wine barrel aisle anchors, and dreamy centerpieces, A+R went all out for their dream wedding at the Saltbox Barn on Fir Island. This rustic venue lends itself easily to rustic-chic, minimalist glam, and bohemian vibes and is managed by some of the kindest people on the planet. Definitely consider this venue if you are looking for an elegant barn setting, and then book me as your florist! ;)
