Alice and Mike: Mount Baker Elopement

Planning a romantic mountain elopement from across the country is no easy feat, but these two traveled all the way from Pennsylvania and achieved their dream wedding in August of 2020, complete with quintessential PNW weather! Their choice of florals complimented the moody mountain backdrop of Artist Point on Mount Baker.

Sarah and Eliot: Diablo Lake Elopement

The North Cascades National Park is home to some of the most breathtaking views in our state, and the Diablo Lake Overlook does not disappoint! The cloud inversions, the glacial color of the water, and the snowy peaks in the background make for stunning scenery. The weather cooperated for S+E as they celebrated their love with family after hiking in with a picnic… and a cake! The North Cascades is one of my favorite parks in the state and offers no shortage of stunning places for elopements and intimate weddings.

Marion and Tony: Moon Mountain Lodge

M+T collected the most beautiful eclectic mix of tincture bottles in all sorts of colors, and asked for them to be filled with seasonal “wildflowers” to complete their floral vision. Peaceful vibes, an easy-going and wonderfully kind couple, all their guests joined them at Moon Mountain Lodge for a night of music, dancing, and camping under the stars. A rustic venue if I’ve ever seen one, the drive up to the Lodge is reminiscent of a forest-service logging road: bumpy, long, and probably not well suited for a low-riding compact car, but once you have arrived you are greeted with only the sounds of singing birds and rustling wind. This was a forever favorite wedding.

Tyler and Michael: Axton Events Bellingham

T+M’s florals were SO romantic, I’m not even sure where to begin. Their custom built arbor was stunning, and I created the largest design I had ever made before on it, complete with miles of blush chiffon. Their vision included arrangements made inside lanterns for their centerpieces, tons of local dahlias, and a statement-making bridal bouquet. Every aspect of this beautiful day was steeped in personalization and incorporating family.

Amanda and Riley: The Saltbox Barn on Fir Island

An elaborate arbor, a sea of eucalyptus garland on the head table, wine barrel aisle anchors, and dreamy centerpieces, A+R went all out for their dream wedding at the Saltbox Barn on Fir Island. This rustic venue lends itself easily to rustic-chic, minimalist glam, and bohemian vibes and is managed by some of the kindest people on the planet. Definitely consider this venue if you are looking for an elegant barn setting, and then book me as your florist! ;)

Kristine and Ryan: Broadway Hall

Maybe I am a little biased since I got married at Broadway Hall myself in 2016, but this is my favorite little indoor venue in Bellingham. Built in 1905, its period charm is intact and celebrated, with mouldings, little nooks, a beautiful fireplace and dramatic staircase for your grand entrance as a couple. If you getting married in the winter months, this venue is perfectly cozy and elegant at the same time. The chandelier upstairs is a dream, as are the hardwood floors. The cherry blossom trees across the street were popping off for K+R as they celebrated with their closest friends and family in April.
